HYUNA~A TALK
Yesterday, Hyuna just dropped her 3rd mini album
with the same name as her first track A TALK. The album consists of 5 tracks
and I’m
here to review all of them.
1. A TALK
Is this Hyuna singing here? I was really surprised
because hey, Hyuna’s
simply singing here without all the cutesy feels. I like the clapping beat in
the background. And nananana~ is just so sexy. It’s also really catchy in the ears. They
should release a full version of this because 1 minute is not enough.
2. FRENCH KISS
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this album. First
time listening this it was like your average kpop song, but the 2nd, 3rd, and
son on times I listened to this I was actually singing along to it and realized
that this song is flawless, with all that catchy parts and falsetto. Forgive me,
but I’m
still laughing when I here the word “CHORIZO” here. I’m
not sure if that’s
what actually it is, it’s
on 0:40 time mark, so correct me if I’m hearing wrong. Chorizo is a home made
food here in the Philippines. There’s just so much I can say from this
song. If I were to count the catchy parts, there were like 5, and I’m not gonna
enumerate them. You will.
3. 빨개요(RED)
SO COOL HAGE~ TOO HOT HAGE~ This is not your usual
Hyuna rapping technique. I just wanna say that Hyuna improved a lot since her
Bubble Pop days. Not just her rapping, but also her singing. What I like about
this song is its really fun by trying different genres in one song. And I’m only talking
about the song, not the music video. The music video’s really crazy
fun! It’s
just so random! Anyways, is there someone here that can endure listening to
this song without dancing? I mean, this song is like asking you to get up and
dance along. OOOH-WEH-WOO-WEH-WOO~
4. 어디부터 어디까지(FROM WHEN UNTIL WHEN)
Gosh! Don’t ask me why, but I’m going to rant
about Yoseob a little. Those falsetto’s man! It was a really good choice for
her to choose Yoseob in this song. Actually, I didn’t recognize
Yoseob’s
voice when I first listened to this song. Hyuna’s rap in here gives the same feel with 4Minute’s song make
love. This is my favorite track in the album, plus points because its Yoseob
singing.
5. BLACKLIST
I was thinking why would Hyuna feature LE when LE’s one hell of a
good rapper. Hands down, Hyuna proved herself to be also a good rapper. I love
her in this song. This song I think can let listeners compare her to other
rappers, and she did really well.
———————————————————————————-
OVERALL: I think Hyuna can be the next Lee Hyori,
but a rapper version. This is just her 3rd mini album, but she improve
drastically. Who knows what she will be in the next 2 years?
