AKDONG MUSICIAN~PLAY

01 GIVE LOVE

The introduction brings a really fresh and blooming feeling, but upon the start of the first verse, it all sounds like full of worries. Longing for something. The chorus' highlight is the `give love`, like asking -or even begging- for love. The second verse gives a feeling of satisfaction. The worries in the first verse were answered, better yet solved. But the hope is still there.

Chanhyuk's part is full of confidence, a positive feeling. Prepared for anything. Ready for war. I especially like the part ~nariwa nariwa nariwa~ Sohyun's part showed a really happy and bouncy feeling. Lastly, the bridge is all about drowning in love. Might be confessing or they're already in a relationship. The song sounds really innocent overall. A newbie in love. It must be LOVE.

03 얼음들(Melted)

With just the sound of the piano and violin, the song conveys sadness, imagine listening to the tranquil waves in the ocean. Longing for something that's already gone. "Why are they so cold?" They were left out in the cold, frozen. This is a really sad song, I always feel like crying when listening to it.

04 지하철에서(On the Subway)

This song is good for travel or outings where someone just play the guitar and everyone sings together. Talking about experiences in life would be much more simple. Time passes by really slowly that way. The song also sounds really relaxing because of the rhythmic guitar and the singing style of the siblings. The saxophone near the end is also soothing.

05 가르마(Parting)

After listening to the first 4 songs, this song is different because the base is more on drums and not the guitar. It's sounds fresh to the ears, yet a sad feeling can still be felt especially in the chorus. Still, chanhyuk's rap are slightly out of the place, his voice sounds kind of really happy to camouflage in the song. 

06 인공잔디(Artificial Glass)

The introduction to the song sounds so dreamy, where you just left grief and woke up in a place where everything is really magical. The `la-la-la` part supports this.  Imagine life without any problems, how happy and stress free would that be?  Imagine enjoying the scenery without anything to worry about, how relaxing would that be? Imagine feeling the breeze on your face, removing all the despair. The chirping of the birds in the song also brought out the feeling of being one with the nature. It's a truly refreshing song with Sohyun's falsetto.

07 안녕(Don’t hate me)

This is one of my personal favorites in the album. Chanhyuk got more singing part in this song; his rap parts are also awesome. Not to mention that Sohyun also rapped in this. I just really love the flow of this song with only the guitar backing the siblings. I also love the dreamy feel before the chorus which I am not sure what sound they used. And then in the chorus, a soft drum beat can be heard, I think that's what brought life to the song. Every time I listen to this song, it's a must that I will sing nananana~

08 작은별(Little Star)

If you want peace and a good night’s sleep, this is a really good song to listen to. The harmony in this song is just flawless. No one can deny the perfect teamwork of this sibling. Please let my star rise on your night~ This is also one of the best songs in the album, as all songs in the album is just as good as the other. I guess this song just made new light for Akmu. What I love in this is the adlibs. Stubirubapbapstustu~

09길이나 (Anyway)

This song just sounds really cute on the highest level. This can pass as a nursery song. With the background, this song is just really fun. I don’t know what to say for this song anymore.  I mean, it’s just so perfect for a kid’s song. You can imagine listening to this song and swaying your head back and forth in happiness.

10소재 (Idea)

Listening to the intro, it sounds like a song you can hear from the club. If I were to mention one song I thought at first its “Club Can’t Handle Me”, but once Sohyun started singing I thought, Oh, it’s just one of their innocent songs. Chanhyuk’s rap in here just sounds awesome and in place compared to their other songs. This song also has its catchy part which is Wo~oh wo~oh-oh~

11 Galaxy

This is the one song that I wished they made into the title song, I just really like the song. I don’t know if it’s justifiable that they’re not allowed to perform this song just because it has a similar name to a popular brand in Korea. This is just the perfect song, from the repeating galaxy~ part to the stu-tu-tu-tu.
